Create the Ultimate Talking Skull with the Wee Little Talker. The skull kit brain boost!
The talking skull has been done to death (heh!), but seriously, what graveyard or spooky fall festival would be complete without a cowled crypt keeper entertaining the crowd with giggles and silly banter? Though there are quite a few choices when it comes to talking skull setups, our system stands head and shoulders above the rest in power, performance, and features!
Our Talking Skull Kit now features the Wee Little Talker board and includes a pre-programmed PICAXE microcontroller, an embedded MP3 player, a 2G micro SD card pre-loaded with audio files for a voice prompt menu system, audio AGC, and spectrum analysis servo motion control! It's everything you need for Hollywood level special effects!

I built the kit and enjoyed the process. I love the talking skull and have had a lot of fun playing with it.
The wee talker design and function is amazing and works the best I have ever seen in a small audio servo controller.
Job well Done!

Instructions were a little light on the mechanical part of the job, but it was easy to figure from looking at on-line info. The circuit works surprisingly well. At first I was a little disappointed in the coordination of the jaw with the pre-loaded MP3 files. However, once I loaded my own MP3 files, with a lot less reverb than the pre-loaded ones, the thing just came alive. I attached an 8 Ohm speaker to the skull support so it sits just inside the mouth, and it's plenty loud for my uses, and truly adds to the illusion.
